Siberian Taiga

Sayan Chaga's main ingredients come from the Siberian forest, or Taiga, one of the most extensive natural forests left in the world!

Here are some interesting facts about the Siberian Taiga:

The Siberian taiga is over 1,505,700 square miles (3,899,700 square kilometers) in area, or about three times the size of Alaska!

The maximum width of the Siberian taiga from North to South is about 994 miles, (1,600 kilometers). By comparison, a similar distance along the East Coast of the U.S. includes more than a dozen major cities.

The Siberian Taiga is considered to be the heart of Siberia because most of the typical Siberian species are represented there.

Annual temperatures range from 104ºF (40ºC) in the summer to -62ºC (-83ºF) in the winter.  This large temperature difference is believed to be the source of the high antioxidant concentration of Siberian chaga.
